Have you checked out The English Major Resource and Information Center?

The English Major Resource and Information Center was specifically designed for Old Westbury English Majors. The goal of the site is to offer support to our majors as they complete their English degree and consider the next step in advancing their education or choosing a career.

The site is a source for upcoming special events, career advice and planning workshops, and graduate program information. There are also discussion forums where you can meet other majors, ask questions, and share concerns about the job market.

If you are an English Major, you have already been enrolled. You can find The English Major Resource and Information Center on the Blackboard home page under “My Organizations” where your classes are listed. If you are thinking about becoming an English major and would like to see what career resources are available, contact Prof. Danielle Lee at Leed@oldwestbury.edu for information.
